Artist Reception: Cuba En Cambio by Lewis Watts, 5–6pm | FREE | Photographer, archivist/curator, and Extension Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Visual Arts advisory board member, Lewis’s work focuses on black communities in Cuba. Exhibit open until 8pm.

ConVerge: 0th and Infrasound, 4–8pm | FREE | 0th is an all-female group whose performances incorporate dance, sculptural installation-based electronic instruments, multi-channel video installations, and robotics to investigate technology’s hold on contemporary life. Infrasound is a spatial acoustic concert series exploring the complex relationship between sound, space, perception, and the body.

Pacific Mambo Orchestra, 6–7:30pm | FREE | The Pacific Mambo Orchestra makes a triumphant return to YBG Festival after winning the 2014 Grammy for Best Tropical Latin Album! PMO brings together four trumpets, four trombones, five saxophones, piano, bass, timbales, congas, and bongos, performing Latin big band mambo. Dance instruction at the start of the program.
